today i went with one girl of the production company to wan chai (reeperbahn on hong kong island) to buy some materials for a stopmotion set… basically i wanted to join, to see some funny shops, which i usually would never find accidently … however, we made a small tourist trip out of it and she showed me some interesting spots in this area …

including the toystreet… where i found toys i actually totally forgot that they existed… stuff from my childhood which u haven’t seen for over 15 years … then some really old buildings and finally… the ghost house.

Actually It’s really difficult to find information about this house in the internet… at least in english it’s quite rare…

she told me that there were some stories, that during the japanese invaded hong kong, they brought chinese woman there and forced them for prostitution… hmm… maybe “raping”?

Anyway, this house must be really really old and is empty since a very long time. It is also said that some girl got crazy there and it needed several policemen to get her away after …. something similar i found in the web:

to reach this house you have to follow several stairs up on the left hand side is a small metal wall… behind it looks like this:

then further on the old stairs… it was suddenly really crowded by cats, thats where it splits into three ways, of which one is leading to the house …. well, the last picture i took was the staircase leading to the left … then the battery of my camera went empty, so i couldn’t take a picture of this house which was on the right….(right to the cat in the pic)

it looked a bit scary… and really really old….

on the way back i saw a small notice on a newer building 200 m further from this haunted house… mentioning “flat to let” … the telephone number was ending with “96669″ well doesn’t fit into the concept as this 666 stuff is more western i think…. however…. as the flats around graveyards are already much cheaper… this one will be cheaper for sure…. so olgi and i will spend this one a visit i think … and this place is quiet…
